Background information

At their production site in Zwolle, Abbott produces different nutritional products in the areas of infant nutrition, dietary nutrition and especially clinical nutrition. The products made on this line were no longer part of the Abbott portfolio and as a result, the line had to be cleared. This production line for tube feeding was consisted of 3 different phases; 1. Filling, 2. Sterilization, 3. Packing. The last phase was active until December 2022, and was cleared shortly after. The 152 individual machines making up this line were all sold via auctions.
