Foeth succesfully relocates 1000 machines

We are proud to announce the successful completion of a significant Foeth Program project: the acquisition and clearance of a powder and liquid detergent manufacturing plant located in Timisoara, Romania. This project, carried out in collaboration with our trusted partners, represents a major achievement for our mission to provide high-quality, pre-owned process equipment with a second life.

Project Details

The Timisoara plant, which was used as a production site for a major player in the specialty chemicals and detergents industry, became available following an internal reorganization of their production capacity. Recognizing the value and potential of the equipment housed within this facility, Foeth quickly acted to acquire over 1,000 machines and assets, with the aim of offering them for resale to companies in need of reliable and efficient industrial equipment.

Equipment Acquired

The extensive range of machinery and equipment acquired from the Timisoara plant includes highlights such as:

11x Inotec 12.000L SS316 Mixers
Steam-Heated Tank Park
Multiple Powder and Liquid Filling Lines
Powder Dosing and Mixing Systems
Pelletizers
Comprehensive Utility Systems: Includes reversed osmosis water treatment, Clayton steam boilers, and Atlas Copco compressors

In addition, the full inventory of lab equipment and furniture was also cleared by Foeth and sold via auction.

Execution and Collaboration

The successful execution of this project was made possible by the seamless collaboration between Foeth and our trusted partners. Together, we efficiently cleared the plant, ensuring that each piece of equipment was carefully dismantled, cataloged, and prepared for resale. After dismantling, every machine was moved to our premises in the Netherlands, or directly to early-bird customers that benefitted from exceptionally fast delivery times. Our team’s expertise in managing complex industrial clearances allowed us to complete the project on time and within budget, meeting the high standards that our clients have come to expect from Foeth.

For Foeth, the acquisition of these machines from the Timisoara plant reinforces our position as a leading supplier of high-quality, pre-owned process equipment. The diversity and modernity of the equipment now available in our inventory provide our clients with unparalleled opportunities to enhance their production capabilities without the lead times and costs associated with new machinery. In addition, projects like these ensure high quality machines can live on in a different production process. The production of a brand new machine releases on average 4.43 tonnes of CO2, which can be completely avoided by reusing existing equipment.
