Barneveld, June 2026
The Intimac team recently visited Foeth headquarters in the Netherlands for a dedicated collaboration day with colleagues from Foeth. The day brought both teams together for a programme focused on knowledge exchange, operational alignment, cultural understanding, and team building.
Following the integration of Foeth and Intimac, moments like these play an important role in strengthening the connection between colleagues. While working together across locations, departments, and markets is part of daily business, meeting in person creates a different level of understanding. It provides the opportunity to exchange practical knowledge, discuss ways of working, and build the personal relationships that support long-term collaboration.
The collaboration day was designed with this purpose in mind. It combined an in-depth introduction to Foeth’s operational processes with interactive sessions, informal conversations, and several team-building activities. The result was a productive and positive day that helped both teams take another step forward as one organisation.

The collaboration day at Foeth HQ demonstrated the importance of bringing teams together in person. It created space for practical learning, operational alignment, cultural exchange, and relationship building.
For Foeth and Intimac, these elements are all essential as both teams continue to work together as one organisation. A strong collaboration is built not only on shared goals, but also on mutual understanding, clear communication, and trust between colleagues.
By learning more about each other’s processes, perspectives, and strengths, both teams are better positioned to collaborate effectively and continue supporting customers with combined expertise.
The day was a successful step in further strengthening the connection between Foeth and Intimac. It reflected a shared ambition to grow together, learn from each other, and build a strong foundation for the future.
We thank everyone who participated, contributed, and helped make the collaboration day a valuable and successful experience. Foeth and Intimac look forward to continuing this journey together as one organisation.

A central part of the programme was focused on giving Intimac colleagues a detailed view of Foeth’s daily operations. Through presentations, practical explanations, and hands-on sessions, participants were introduced to the processes that support Foeth’s role as a specialist in pre-owned process machinery.
This included insight into how machines are received, inspected, documented, entered into internal systems, and prepared for customers worldwide. These steps are essential to maintaining transparency, consistency, and quality across Foeth’s operations. By seeing these processes in practice, Intimac colleagues gained a clearer understanding of the structure behind Foeth’s extensive stock and the way information is managed throughout the organisation.
The sessions also provided context around the importance of accurate machine data. From technical specifications and photographs to system entries and customer-facing information, each detail contributes to how effectively Foeth can support customers in finding the right machinery for their production needs.
This practical focus gave the Intimac team the opportunity to understand not only what Foeth does, but also how and why certain processes are carried out in a specific way.
As part of the programme, Stefan Modderman led a workshop centred around the “stop, continue, start” methodology. Colleagues from both Foeth and Intimac reflected on existing processes, behaviours, and ways of working by identifying what should be stopped, what should be continued, and what could be started to further strengthen collaboration between the two teams.
The session created a constructive setting for open discussion and practical knowledge exchange. By combining perspectives from both companies, the workshop helped identify valuable insights that can support further alignment, improve cooperation, and contribute to a stronger shared foundation for the future.
Rather than focusing only on operational processes, the workshop also encouraged colleagues to think about collaboration from a broader organisational perspective. It created space to discuss what already works well, where improvements can be made, and which new initiatives or habits could help both teams work together more effectively as one organisation.
Although the day included a strong focus on introducing Foeth’s processes, the learning experience was mutual. Foeth colleagues also gained valuable insights from the Intimac team, including their experience, technical knowledge, market perspective, and way of working.
This two-way exchange is an important part of building a successful collaboration. Both teams bring their own expertise, background, and strengths. By sharing this knowledge openly, Foeth and Intimac can continue to develop a more unified approach while preserving the valuable experience that already exists within both organisations.
The collaboration day highlighted that integration is not only about aligning systems and processes. It is also about learning from each other, understanding different perspectives, and creating the conditions for colleagues to work together effectively.
In addition to operational knowledge sharing, the programme also included a quiz focused on cultural strengths. The quiz was hosted by Michiel Schreurs and Sergio Ferreti Clementi and encouraged colleagues to reflect on the qualities, perspectives, and working styles present within both teams.
This part of the day added an important cultural dimension to the programme. As teams become more closely connected, understanding cultural strengths and differences can help improve communication, cooperation, and mutual appreciation.
The quiz created an interactive and accessible way to explore these themes. It encouraged participation from both Foeth and Intimac colleagues and contributed to a better understanding of how different perspectives can strengthen the organisation as a whole.
In addition to the educational and operational parts of the programme, the day also included several informal moments aimed at strengthening personal connections between colleagues. These moments helped create a relaxed and open atmosphere, allowing colleagues to connect outside of their regular work environment.
The team-building programme started with a coffee break featuring special Foeth x Intimac cupcakes. This small but thoughtful detail reflected the spirit of the day: bringing both teams together in a welcoming and positive way. A shared lunch then gave colleagues the opportunity to continue conversations, exchange experiences, and get to know each other better in an informal setting.
The afternoon included several sporty activities, with football, table tennis, and table soccer bringing out plenty of energy and enthusiasm. These activities encouraged colleagues from both teams to interact in a different way, combining friendly competition with teamwork and fun.
The football tournament was one of the highlights of the day. Colleagues gave it their all on the field, showing strong team spirit and a healthy competitive mindset. In the end, Clement Guaquert, Carlos Alloza, and Jessica Alves came out on top as the winners.
Table tennis and table soccer also added to the energetic atmosphere, giving colleagues more opportunities to take part, compete, cheer each other on, and enjoy the day together. These activities may have been informal, but they played an important role in strengthening relationships between the Foeth and Intimac teams.
After a full programme of learning, discussion, and team activities, the day continued with dinner, ice cream, and drinks to finish off the day. This final part of the programme gave colleagues the opportunity to continue conversations in a more informal setting and reflect on the experiences of the day.
These moments are valuable because they allow relationships to develop naturally. Conversations that start during a workshop, quiz, lunch, or team activity can continue over dinner and drinks, helping colleagues get to know each other beyond their specific roles or departments.
The positive atmosphere throughout the day showed the value of creating time for both structured knowledge sharing and informal connection. The combination of workshops, cultural reflection, sports, shared meals, and informal conversations helped make the day not only productive, but also enjoyable and memorable.
