Product Manager

A flexible role with technical challenges

Foeth is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Product Manager to join the team. You will play a pivotal role in the process of machine processing, closely collaborating with various departments and being responsible for processing machines from arrival to online presentation.

Objective of the Role:

As a product manager, your responsibility is to prepare the machines as effectively as possible for the website. You will enrich the machines with technical information, good photos, and ensure the processing of accompanying documentation. You will deal daily with process equipment, systems, and installations from top-brand machines, including dryers, filters, mixers, boilers, presses, etc. In this role, you can apply your broad technical knowledge and truly add value.

Responsibilities:

• Each week, you will be responsible for processing a set number of machines. You will closely collaborate with logistics colleagues, holding a meeting on Monday mornings to discuss the weekly plan.

• You will book incoming machines in collaboration with the logistics department. If necessary, you will dismantle the machine and inspect it for technical aspects.

• Once the logistics department has cleaned and photographed the machine, it will be your task to enrich it with information by adding clear and detailed photos, processing documentation, and entering all necessary data into the recording system. If documentation is missing or if any required parts are missing from the machine, you will contact the suppliers.

• Once the machines are complete with photos and information, you will create a price list for the upcoming pricing round. This list will be shared with relevant colleagues who will assign prices to the machines. You will then process this information.

• On Fridays, you will discuss the price list in a joint meeting. The prices of the machines and the order of the machines for the newsletter will be determined in this meeting.

Placement within the Organization:

As a Product Manager, you are part of the Product Management Team and report directly to the Senior Product Manager, Maarten Feijen.

Requirements:

As a product manager, you are the technical specialist within Foeth. You will primarily need technical knowledge in mechanical engineering to assess the machines. Additionally, you ideally meet the following requirements:

• Vocational education level, with a focus on mechanical engineering or mechatronics as a plus;

• Basic knowledge of process machines is advantageous but not necessary;

• Genuine passion for technology, like your other colleagues;

• Punctual, analytically strong, and proficient with computers;

• You take responsibility willingly and can work both independently and in a team;

• Good command of Dutch and English, with German being a plus.
