Machine Intake Expert (M/F)

A flexible role with technical challenges

Foeth is a company that has been buying and selling used process equipment from all over the world since 1908. With more than 2800 A-brand machines in stock, we are the largest dealer in Europe.

As a machine intake expert, it is up to you to submit the machine to our website in the best possible way. You enrich the machine with technical information, good photos, and check and process related documentation. To do this, you will spend an average of 3.5 days at the office and 1.5 days among the machines.

On a daily basis, you will deal with process equipment, process systems and process installations of A-brand machines. Think of dryers, filters, mixers, boilers, presses, etc. In this position, you can put your broad knowledge in engineering to good use and really add value.

How your working week will be structured:

• Each week, we try to process a fixed number of machines. We work closely with our colleagues from logistics, so on Monday mornings we have a meeting with them about the weekly planning;

• The incoming machines are booked in by you in cooperation with logistics. From time to time, you disassemble the machine and check it for technical aspects;

• When the machine has been cleaned and photographed by the logistics department, it is your job to enrich the machine with information;

• Enrichment includes adding good and clear photos, processing documentation and filling in all necessary data in our recording system;

• Is the machine missing documentation or a required part? Then you contact the suppliers;

• On Thursday, we process the recorded machines into a price list for the upcoming price round. This list is shared with your colleagues who link an expected price to it;

• On Friday, we discuss the price list in a joint meeting. The prices of the machines and order of the machines for the newsletter are determined.

Who are we looking for?

• MBO working and thinking level, education in mechanical engineering or mechatronics is a plus;

• Basic knowledge of process machinery is nice to have, but not necessary;

• You have a real passion for technology, just like your other colleagues;

• Punctual, analytically strong and handy with computers;

• Good command of Dutch and English, German is an advantage.
