Colloidal Mill - the leading device in the Probst & Class product line

The company Probst & Class gained worldwide recognition through the patenting of the colloidal mill. The machine was introduced to the market in 1933. Colloidal mills are an alternative to corundum mills. Their main task is to crush and homogenize products. There are three main types of colloidal mills: cone mills, disc mills, and turbine mills. The grinding itself is carried out through the cooperation of a toothed rotor and stator.

Probst & Class - manufacturer of industrial machines

In addition to colloidal mills, Probst & Class also offers systems for:

  • wet grinding,

  • homogenization,

  • dispersion,

  • degassing of liquid and pump products.

Furthermore, the company also produces equipment for vacuum degassing as well as complete systems for processing lubricants.
