What is or was Drais or Draiswerke?
Drais or Draiswerke GmbH was a renowned manufacturer from Germany that was established in 1896. In the food and chemical industry, they were mostly known for their wet grinding technology and mixing and reaction technology. In 2003 their wet grinding technologies have been taken over by Bühler AG from Switzerland. Around the same timeframe the mixing and reaction technology has been taken over by Lödige from Germany. The machines produced were and still are of outstanding German quality and nowadays even the used machines are implemented in new production lines since the lifespan and high-quality output they deliver.
