Aviteq Vibrationstechnik GmbH: Their Beginnings

The history of Aviteq begins in 1939 in Germany with the establishment of the "Vibrationstechnik" department within AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft). With the acquisition of the patent for magnetic vibrators in 1940, the technological development began, establishing the company as a market leader in this field.

The corporate structure of AEG led to the formation of many companies. Aviteq Vibrationstechnik GmbH was created in 1996 as a result of many corporate divisions.

The efficiency and performance of their magnetic vibrators were evident from the beginning and found application in many industries. AEG became the first manufacturer of vibration equipment in Europe, and the production of concrete parts for air raid shelters using vibrators was one of their first industrial applications.

Aviteq: Conveying, Screening, Weighing, and Vibratory Feeders

The product portfolio of Aviteq Vibrationstechnik GmbH has been expanded through the use of their industrial vibration and process technology. Their subsidiaries in France, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, as well as distribution partners, have brought their products to the entire world.

Applications of Aviteq's magnetic vibrators include:

  • Vibrator transport via tubular vibratory conveyors and shake tables.

  • Drying of drilling mud with liquid recovery using vibrating screens.

  • Enclosed vibrating container for food and additives in the food industry.

  • Stone sieve.

  • Chute feeder for iron ore or coal in the steel industry.

  • Weight control of fine solids using vibration.

Compact Aviteq feeding drive: Operating principle and advantages

The magnetic vibration exciters from Aviteq act on the structure of the container and generate periodic linear vibrations through shocks. The friction between the material and the wall of the bunker allows for breaking the form, dissolving lumps, and moving the material through the outlet. This facilitates the emptying of the containers and ensures uniform material feeding.

The containers can contain a sieve to limit the passage of unwanted material. The intensity of the vibration can be easily adjusted from the control unit.
