Bij Foeth verbeteren we voortdurend onze kennis en service. Dit doen we door aandachtig te luisteren naar onze relaties en klanten. Wanneer u besluit zaken met ons te doen, bent u verzekerd van meer dan alleen de overdracht van een machine. Wij zijn een full-service bedrijf, toegewijd aan het volledig ontzorgen van u, van taxatie tot transport.

Something old, something new

New process machinery is made from raw stainless steel. Raw steel is made from iron ore in blast furnaces, or from scrap using electric arc furnaces. Both processes require lots of energy and result in huge CO2 and CH4 emissions. In addition, casting steel into individual machine components is also a very energy intensive process. The formation of machine parts from steel sheets is less energy intensive, but still causes carbon dioxide pollution. When you purchase a pre-owned machine from Foeth instead of a new one, you’ll avoid all these emissions

Reuse, avoid CO2

Renowned decarbonization platform Greencast has analysed Foeth’s carbon footprint, and we’re proud to be recognised as a Climate Actor. This means that we’ve actively and successfully taken concrete steps to battle the climate crisis and contribute to a sustainable economy. Greencast has calculated that, together with our clients and partners, we’ve prevented a total of 4,341 tons of CO2 emissions in 2021 by making sure equipment is reused. And since 2015, we’ve even avoided more than 30,000 tons of CO2 entering the atmosphere. We’re proud of our Foeth print!

When you buy one of our high-quality pre-owned machines (instead of a new one), you’ll avoid 4.43 tons of CO2 emissions (per 1,000kg).

Sell, don’t scrap

But we’re not only helping the climate by selling pre-owned machinery. By purchasing equipment from our clients, we’re also contributing to a healthier climate. That is, perfect machines that are not used anymore often end up at the scrapyard. This is a shame, because they are still fully functional and could easily be used by another owner. On top of that, demolishing machines also results in energy loss and harmful emissions.

By selling your discarded machines to us, you make sure they will get a second life, avoiding the waste of energy and emissions from demolishing them.

Go solar

We contribute to a healthier climate by buying, refurbishing and reselling machines. Furthermore, we have also committed ourselves to have net-zero carbon dioxide emissions in our direct operations by 2025. We are already taking the necessary steps to reach this goal, for instance by having solar panels installed on our roofs
