This summer, Foeth will successfully finish the dismantling of hundreds of process machines for its customer, a leading producer of pharmaceutical products based in Kundl, Austria.
The process machines, consisting of 350 dryers, sieves, heat exchangers, mixers and others, have been dismantled, within the estimated timeframe for the project, and given a second life by Foeth. Many of these sophisticated high-value machines were already sold and shipped to satisfied customers worldwide before the project was completed. Not surprising, because such a machine has several advantages at the time of purchase, such as:
- Assurance of a good condition and if desired mechanical check prior to delivery.
- Short delivery time and easy to quickly implement and take into operation.
- Lower purchase costs than a completely new machine.
- New owner has a lower CO2 footprint and helps to protect the environment.
Foeth will refurbish* the process machines that arrive in the Netherlands in its 4.000 m² workshop and then sell them to customers, such as contract manufacturers in the API business, worldwide.
